Bi-Xenon HID bulbs are designed for cars that utilize a single bulb for both high and low beams. The stock halogen bulb used in these cars has two filaments in it. When the filament at the high position is lit, the high beam is on. When the filament at the low position is lit, the low beam is on. But, For HID bulbs that do not have filaments, it's a totally different story. Bi-xenon HID bulbs has a built-in solenoid that can move the bulbs to the high and low positions as in the stock halogen filament scenario, and thus convert BOTH high and low beams to xenon HID with just one bulb.

Note: For vehicles using a single H4, 9004, 9007 bulb for both low and high beam,
you will lose your high beam functionality.
 
Note: most customers have a common misconception that the higher the K (Kelvin temperature) the brighter it gets, but in fact, it is the opposite. The K rating is inversely proportional to the light output, therefore the lower the K the brighter the light output.
